The goal of Week Three is developing explosive power. An optimal approach for power training is target a lower number of reps with a focus on speed of movement and intention. Using a lower rep range in week three allows you to focus on producing maximal levels of violent force on each repetition without excessive fatigue. Theis improves your ability to generate fast, powerful contractions.
